On January 1st, Old World Spices unexpectedly terminated our partnership, which we had since 2018. Their decision was based on increasing market competition and a shift in focus towards their larger, more commercial brands. While we were surprised, we still want to express our gratitude for their support over the years. Now, for the good news! We are thrilled to announce that we have a new distributor and manufacturer in the U.S.--Patio Provisions out of Utah. They already distribute well-known brands like Hey Grill Hey and Girls Can Grill, making them a perfect fit for Big Swede BBQ. This partnership will allow us to consolidate ordering, streamline shipping, and cross-marketing with other top-tier BBQ brands, ultimately providing a better experience for our customers. Patio Provisions operates on a smaller, more customer-focused scale, which means we’ll be able to serve you better, with more direct and personalized support. The wholesale price for 2025 will be $6,75 per unit (MSRP $12.99-$13.99), with each rub available in cases of 12. As of today, Patio Provisions carry our Beef, Bird, Pork, Veggie and Texas Boost.  The NBBQA Awards of Excellence are a long-running award series that recognizes excellence in the commercial side of the barbecue industry. Only products available in stores and on-line are eligible to enter. NBBQA was founded in 1991and helps start-ups, established businesses, and industry partners succeed faster and make fewer mistakes through regular peer-to-peer Special Interest Groups (SIGs), networking, education, events, publications, advocacy, and involvement.
